Wild Azalea/Lakeshore/Lake Kincaid and a lift on a bass boat...

This weekend we set out on a 3 day trip on the Wild Azalea Trail in Kisatchie National Forest. I wanted to try a loop that i'm pretty sure had never been done before. Park near Castor Creek and walk north on the WAT to the Lakeshore Trail. End up at the boat launch 14 miles away and try and hitch a ride across the lake from someone to the Kincaid Recreation Area. Follow the Kincaid Loop to the Lamotte Creek Trail and end up back on the Wild Azalea and ultimately back at the car 30 miles later.

We succeeded in all these things. Thanks mostly to to the nice person on the bass boat that ferried us across Lake Kincaid.
