Dude, The Whites...

It's something we've heard about for months now. The White Mountains in New Hampshire have a reputation on the trail for being really tough and rugged. The 50 miles from Hanover to
Moosilaukee were all a bit of a blur because all I could think about was entering the whites.

People have told us that although 80% of the miles are done, only
20% of the effort is done by the time you reach the Whites. I can say that the last few days have been steep and rocky, but more fun than any other part of the trail! The climbs are more akin to bouldering and you spend a lot of time butt-sliding down the wet rock descents. And to boot I saw my first MOOSE!! It was at Lonesome Lake where we lucked into a work for stay at the hut and had 2 free meals and a place to crash for the night. Im psyched for the next week in the Whites and will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
