What more can be said about a weekend were you go to an LSU game, fish your favorite marsh and top it off with a morning duck hunt. Add in a meal with family and friends, a night of camping with a few beers as cold as the air around us. Crawling redfish eating brown crab flies on tides so low that there was nothing but mud. Running down to the coast on a few hours of sleep at 4am with a car full of decoys. Muddy waders and only one shell fired at some waterfowl. I am thankful for all of that, but I wish a few more ducks would have flown into out spread. Can't wait for more blast and cast weekends to come.
