Took a few days off at Banjo's uncles lake house on Lake Kemah not far off the trail in Nj. We ate LOTS of food, had some beers and fished every day. The lake is electric motors only or paddlecraft so no loud boats rippin around scaring fish and annoying me. The largemouth in this lake are ridiculous and there's plenty of pickerel, sunnies, smallies, crappie, and white perch to keep us entertained for hours. Best part is they were pretty much hitting on any kind of bait we threw!
We managed to do a 15 mile slackpack in there too. It went down without a hitch even though we should have carried more water. It took us about 4 hours to knock out those miles and we were back on the lake fishing that evening. All in all a few awesome days of rest and now it's time to get back to the trail.
